Nima Thendup Bhutia (Sponsor Mr. Dipanker Subba, Singapore)
Nima Thendup is a resident of Bich Gaon, Jorebunglow. He lost his father who was a porter when he was very young. His mother took the responsibility of the family and she too took up a job as a porter after Nima’s father’s death. With three members in the family and earning of merely few rupees it is very was difficult for Nima’s mother Ms Sonam Bhutia to take care of the house and the education responsibilities of her children. Nima is a very good footballer and shows keen interest in football. Presently he goes to Ghoom Boys High Secondary School, Ghoom and is in class 5. MARG has also been able to bring back smile on Nima’s face by helping him in sponsoring his school tuition fee.
