Ujjawal is a very quite and a simple boy from the hills of Darjeeling. He lost his father Mr. Goray Thami at a very tender age. After his father’s death it was difficult for (Ms Thami) Ujjawal’s mother to run the house. So she started knitting caps, sweaters, socks etc for livelihood. During tourist season in Darjeeling she sets up a small shop where she displays her knitted materials and with the earned money runs the house. MARG has been able ignite smile of Ujawal and his mother. Ujjawal is in class 6 and is going to TurnBull High School, Darjeeling.
