Yojna
is a small cute girl from Pedong, a tiny town in the hills of North
Bengal under Kalimpong sub-division. Her family has a very
poor background and her parents work as landless labourers and are poorly paid.
The few hundreds which they earn merely support their hunger. Though
Yojna’s mother is physically fit her father is mentally unstable which has lead
to unemployment. Presently Yojna is attending a primary school at
St. Georges High Secondary School in Pedong and is in class two. MARG with its
sponsors help has been able to ignite a smile on Yojana’s face.
