Martha come from a very poor family. She hails from a remote village in the Kange region of Pedong under Kalimpong sub-division. She lost her mother when she was three years old hence could not be as lucky as us to get motherly love. The way she carries herself speaks for itself about the trauma she must have gone through. Martha’s father is not physically fit hence he is unable to do labourers job. He earns his living by cultivating the small land which he has. He is not able to bear Martha’s educational expenses. MARG again with the help of its sponsors has been able to support Martha’s hostel expenses thus igniting a innocent smile.
