praveshPravesh Chettri is twelve years old and hails from Darjeeling in the North eastern part of India in the state of West Bengal. His mother is a housewife and looks after the household jobs. Because of her health problem she has not been able to take up outdoor jobs. The only earning member in Pravesh’s family is his father Mr. Bimal Chettri who is a part time Municipality sweeper. With a mere income of Rs 2000/- a month it is difficult for Mr Chettri to run his house and educate his son and daughter. MARG with the help from its valuable sponsors has been able to Ignite Smile on Peavesh’s face and family. Presently Pravesh is in class six and is attending school at TurnBull High School Darjeeling.
