Puran Singh (Sponsor Dr. Nilay Ranjan, New Delhi)
Puran is the only son of Mr. Dil Bahadur Singh and Shanti Kumari. This family is very poor and they are landless. They stay in others land and offer their manual service in the fields. Puran’s parents are almost abnormal. Father is deaf and mother is dumb. Home environment is not suitable for Puran who is merely 3 years. MARG with the help of its sponsors have taken up the responsibility to educate Puran and make him a responsible citizen of India. Presently he is in class LKG at St. Mary’s Primary School, Maria Basti, Pedong Kalimpong.
