Sharuk Chettri is a resident of Ghoom Bahnjyang and is presently going to Ghoom Boys High Secondary School. He is in class seven. Sharuk lost his father who was a Home Guard when he was young. After his fathers death Sarukh’s mother left him and got married to another person. Sharuk stays with his father;s elder sister Ms. Uma Devi Chettri who is also a widow and his elder sister stays with his mother . The income source in Uma’s family is the pension she gets from her late husband. Apart from rearing four of her own children Ms Uma was supporting Sharuk when MARG stepped in to support Sarukh.
