MISSING GIRL FROM DARJEELING RECOVERED IN DELHI BY CBI

Missing minor girl Miss. Aarti Pradhan (name changed)

from Darjeeling was recovered by a team of Central Bureau of Investigation officers (CBI) at New Delhi on 22nd February 2012.

Aarti had gone missing from Darjeeling and her parents had lodged a missing complain at the local police station. Mankind in Action for Rural Growth (MARG) an NGO working in the hills of North Bengal Igniting Smiles of individuals through its sponsorship programmes on education and its efforts to combat Human Trafficking also received a request from the parents to look for their missing child.

It was a joint effort by MARG, ARZ, Darjeeling Police and finally CBI which lead to the recovery of the child. Since the girl is a minor she will produced before Child Welfare Committee (CWC) members New Delhi for further course of action and rehabilitation.
