ANTI HUMAN TRAFFICKING MOVE.
Handing the resolution to MLA and DM ...
On 9th of January 2012representative from All India Women Conference Darjeeling, Kripa Foundation Darjeeling, volunteer from Kanchanjunga Uddhar Kendra Siliguri and MARG submitted the resolution which was passed at the end of the one day seminar on Anti Human Trafficking on 18th November 2011 organised by MARG.
Honorable MLA Mr Trilok Dewan assured that HOME is a must and he said that by coming April we can hear some good news. He also advised the team to send another letter to Darjeeling District Magistrate regarding the seminar on Anti Human Trafficking of 18th Nov 2011, who all were present especially highlighting the schemes of State and Centre Governments to combat Human Trafficking.
